Alan Omer vs. Arnold Allen

Round 1
Omer tries to press in on the southpaw Allen, gets backed out by a body kick, and now Allen circles off the cage to meet his man in the center. Omer gets into range with a hook, then pulls down Allen’s head in the Thai clinch and sends a knee up the middle. A right hook scores for Omer, then a jab, and Allen gets one back with a left hand. Now it’s Allen pressing forward, hitting Omer with a close-quarters elbow, and Omer retaliates with a short left hand in the pocket. The fighters clinch in the center, Omer delivers another knee up the center and then slips out of range as Allen tries to punch. Omer puts a pair of kicks inside Allen’s lead leg, but Allen comes right back with a blistering overhand left. Allen changes levels and charges Omer to the ground, but Omer throws up an instant triangle and works to cinch the choke with 40 seconds on the clock. Omer can’t close the triangle but manages to hit Allen with elbows and punches from his back in the last half minute.

Omer ducks under a wide punch from Allen, wraps up the Englishman and trips him to the canvas near the center of the Octagon. From underneath, Allen forces Omer out of half guard with a kimura attempt, then grabs for Omer’s legs. Omer grabs the fence and stands up, but the foul goes unnoticed by referee Wolf Menninger. The featherweights are back on their feet, trading punches in the center of the cage, and Omer tags Allen with a nice right hook. Allen gets him right back with a straight left which backs up Omer to the fence, and now Allen digs an underhook to keep his opponent pressed against the cage.
Omer gets double underhooks and walks Allen to the other side of the cage, hitting Allen’s body with knees on the way. Allen hits a trip that sends Omer to the ground, then tries to jump on Omer’s back as they stand. Allen gets tripped to the ground and kneels, allowing Omer to jump on his back and sink in both hooks. Allen stands with Omer still on his back, then kneels back on the ground and shakes him off. They come back to the feet in the final minute, and Omer holds Allen on the fence in a tired clinch.

Round 3
Omer clinches up and shoves Allen against a cage post, working an underhook with his left arm while threatening to punch with the right. One minute into the round, Omer plants Allen on his seat near the fence, then grabs for the Englishman’s neck when Allen leans forward to try and stand. Allen climbs back to his feet and keeps one hand on the ground to avoid knees to the head, so Omer drills him with a knee to the gut instead. Out of nowhere, Allen snatches Omer’s neck, breaking him down to the ground in a guillotine choke. Almost as soon as he hits the mat, Omer taps out to the modified guillotine.
