AJ is very confident Aswell will knock out Bolaños, citing Aswell's pressure, pace, and output with hands. He thinks Bolaños is overrated and will be overwhelmed by Aswell's grit and toughness. AJ predicts a KO, possibly in the second round.
AJ picks Michael Aswell Jr. confidently, expecting a stoppage due to his volume striking and pressure. He notes Bolaños is moving up to 145 and is finishable, with poor grappling. Aswell's power and aggression should overwhelm Bolaños, leading to a TKO. He calls Aswell a lock on the card.
Angelo picks Michael Aswell Jr. but says there's a 0% chance he bets on him as a 4-to-1 favorite. He thinks Aswell's only path is takedowns, and he might strike too long and lose exchanges. He calls the line crazy and a hard pass.
Angelo picks Michael Aswell Jr., noting his busy offensive striking and durability. He thinks Aswell will win straightforwardly but isn't sure he'll score high because Gaston Bolanos is tough and a striker. He doesn't see Aswell as five levels above Bolanos despite the betting odds.
Lucrative James picks Michael Aswell Jr., stating that Gastón Bolaños is not a great MMA fighter and that Aswell is better in boxing, grappling, wrestling, chin, and cardio. He predicts a knockout, as Bolaños has a poor chin and gets hurt on the feet.
Aswell's basic striking should nullify Bolaños' flashy style. Aswell will likely land more volume and damage, winning by decision. However, the -400 line is steep, so the decision prop is more attractive.
