Rahiki follows a front kick with a leg kick. Rahiki wings a hook. Hardwick angles off and lands a right hook. Rahiki targets the legs with a pair of low kicks. Knee stomps from Rahiki. Hardwick eats a jab. A low kick makes Rahiki stujble. Hardwick jabs the body, catches a kick and follows Rahiki to the fence. A stiff jab lands for Rahiki. Hardwick makes Rahiki stubmle with a kick. Rahiki goes on the offensive, winging powerful hooks and tagging Hardwick. The Brit is in the fight, and he fires back in the pocket. Now Hardwick is moving forward. They trade low kicks. Rahiki stalks him and tees off witha barrage of punches near the fence. hardwick answers, moving forward and landing combinations of his own. Hardwick lands some straight pucnhes, but Rahiki wobbles hardwick with hooks. Rahiki unloads with a flurry against the fence, and it seems like the fence was holding up Hardwick. Hardwick punches his way back to the center of the Octagon. Hardwick clinches, but Rahiki gets space and again lands heavy shots near the fence. Hardwick is bleeding from the mouth now. Rahiki flicks out a stiff jab. Hardwick has a head kick block, and Rahiki lands a spinning back kick to the body. Hardwick lands a takedown, but Rahiki reverses into top position. Hardwick recovers fulll guard and locks in a body triangle, giving himself a breather after some furious action. Not a lot of action on the ground here, as Hardwick is neutralizing Rahiki. Rahiki stands and immediately fires a head kick as Hardwick stands. Both fighters misfire on some kicks before the horn. While it appeared the fight would go to a third round, Hardwick reveals to his corner that he has a broken jaw. As a result, the bout is waved off after two rounds. Rahiki will win his UFC debut.
