Big Brady picks Herbert Burns but is hesitant due to Evan Dunham's layoff and age. He notes Dunham has good striking and BJJ, but the two-year layoff and recent losses make it hard to pick him. He expects a close fight with Burns winning by decision, possibly hurting Dunham to the body.
Daniel believes Burns has caught up to where he can beat a veteran like Dunham. He highlights Burns' wrestling entries, ten-year black belt in jiu-jitsu, and developing power in his striking. He notes Dunham retired for a reason and has shown vulnerability to body shots. He predicts Burns will finish Dunham, possibly by submission or body shots.
Evan Dunham is a high-level jiu-jitsu player with great takedown defense and refined striking. He should be able to keep the fight on the feet and pick apart Herbert Burns, who is wild and chaotic. Dunham's hands have looked good, and he can put together combinations ending with kicks. Even if the fight goes to the ground, Dunham is safe due to his own jiu-jitsu. The only concern is the layoff, but at plus money he is a steal.

Dariush takes the center of the cage to start the fight while his fellow southpaw Dunham circles counterclockwise around the perimeter. Both men land glancing left hands in an early exchange, then Dunham tries to latch on to a leg kick but can't wrangle Dariush to the ground. Dariush catches Dunham stepping forward and picks off the Las Vegas resident with a looping left hand. A standing elbow drops Dunham to his knees, and Dariush pounces all over his wounded opponent. Dunham rolls to his back and Dariush postures up over him, blasting the veteran with more elbows, now left hands that have Dunham covering up. Dariush's attack subsides as he settles in Dunham's half guard with two minutes on the clock. With Dunham on one knee, struggling to stand, Dariush drives a nasty knee to his opponent's chest. Dunham grabs for a heel hook from the bottom, but Dariush extracts his leg and stands over him. Dunham gets deep half guard but Dariush roughs him up with more elbows, now some heavy left hands. Dunham gets to his knees, now back to his feet with 25 seconds on the clock, and the round expires without any further offense of note.

Round 2
Dariush lands a few early leg kicks, now a knee to the body, but before he can get out of the pocket, Dunham wraps up a bodylock and trips the Kings MMA fighter to the ground. Dariush uses an omoplata from the bottom to slow Dunham's work on top, and now Dunham is forced to stand to withdraw his arm. The lightweights come back to their feet, Dunham now pressing Dariush against the fence. Dariush breaks free with half the round left to fight and goes after Dunham with a pair of punches, another leg kick. The next leg kick catches Dunham leaning forward and nearly knocks him to the floor, but Dunham keeps his balance and continues circling the outside. Now it's Dariush's turn to hug Dunham against the fence, landing a knee to the body on the break after a few seconds in the clinch. Dariush keeps chopping away at Dunham's lead leg, prompting Dunham to run him back against the wall as the round ends.

Round 3
Dunham tries to catch a leg kick for an early takedown but can't keep hold of Dariush, though he does hit the Rafael Cordeiro pupil with a right hand on the break. Dariush looks tired, breathing heavily as Dunham begins to tag him with jabs and combinations. Now it's Dunham clinching up again, trapping Dariush on the wall with an underhook and feeding him short right hands. Dariush breaks out midway through the round and gets busier with his striking, marking up Dunham's face with punches before going back to work on his lead leg with kicks. Dunham drives him against the fence again, this time landign a hard knee to the midsection. The striking is getting increasingly sloppy here in the final 90 seconds, with both men swinging for the fences and neither coming up with anything particularly clean. Dunham calls for Dariush to engage, then catches a knee and attacks with punches just before the horn.

Angelo believes Song Kenan should steamroll Ricky Glenn due to his power and knockout ability, but he cannot bet on him at -200 because of Song's low fight IQ and history of poor decisions, like wrestling instead of finishing Ian Garry. He thinks the line is too high for a fighter he doesn't trust, so he leaves it alone despite expecting a win.
Big Brady picks Song Kenan to win by second-round knockout. He is very low on Ricky Glenn, stating Glenn looks washed and has been knocked out in the first round in his last two fights. He notes Glenn is moving up to welterweight late in his career and has poor durability. He believes Song Kenan has power and solid takedown defense, and that the fight will stay standing where Glenn's chin is compromised. He expects Kenan to land a big shot and finish the fight.
Cody believes Song Kenan has power and durability, while Glenn is past his prime with a questionable chin and multiple surgeries. He notes Glenn has been knocked out in his last two fights and is moving up to welterweight. Cody expects Song Kenan to win, likely by finish.
Daniel Vreeland picks Song Kenan to win, citing Glenn's recent knockout losses and potential decline. He notes that Kenan has power and is durable, while Glenn may be washed and moving up in weight. Vreeland acknowledges that Glenn is the more skilled fighter but believes recency bias is justified here.
The host picks Song Kenan but with low confidence, noting Song's power and striking rhythm. He acknowledges Glenn is a better overall mixed martial artist but questions his durability after recent knockout losses. He expects Song to win by knockout, but warns that Song is better as an underdog than a favorite.
Paul agrees, noting that Glenn's durability has left him and that he is likely just collecting a paycheck. He points out that Song Kenan has power and has knocked down Ian Garry. Paul expects Song Kenan to win by finish.
The MMA Guru picks Song Kenan over Ricky Glenn. He notes that Song Kenan has proven him wrong before, showing pop in his hands against Rolando Bedoya and a tough fight with Kevin Jousset. He criticizes Ricky Glenn as an old, slow fighter who moves like a robot and is falling off, citing losses to Christos Giagos and Drew Dober. He believes Song Kenan is still capable, even if not a top fighter, while Glenn is declining.

Angelo picks Drew Dober confidently, citing his technical kickboxing, power, and willingness to brawl. He notes that Ricky Glenn struggles when opponents bring a brawl. However, he expresses concern about Dober's chin after his knockout loss to Matt Frevola, wondering if it's the beginning of the end. He has Dober in a parlay with Kanako Murata, calling it risky.
Big Brady is very confident in Drew Dober, calling the matchup questionable and noting Ricky Glenn's poor performance in his last fight. He believes Glenn looks washed and has had long layoffs due to injuries. He expects Dober's power to be too much, predicting a first-round knockout despite Glenn only being knocked out once in his career.
Cody picks Dober but is hesitant, noting that Dober's chin may be compromised after his knockout loss to Matt Frevola. He acknowledges Glenn's sneaky power and low activity, but believes Dober's experience and power give him the edge. He does not like the line and sees better value elsewhere.
Daniel Levi picks Drew Dober, noting that Dober has always been a step ahead of Ricky Glenn in competition. He highlights Dober's power and his record for most KOs in the lightweight division, but also acknowledges Glenn's durability (only one KO loss in over 30 fights). He thinks Dober should get back on track but doesn't guarantee a KO.
Lucrative James predicts Dober wins by knockout in round two or three. He thinks the line is wide but Dober should get the finish. He notes Dober has good takedown defense but struggles to get back up if taken down. He believes Glenn is slowing down and Dober will eventually crack his chin.
Dober has power and speed advantages, and Glenn has durability concerns after a long layoff and surgeries. However, Dober is unreliable as a heavy favorite and Glenn can also knock him out. The fight likely ends inside the distance, with Dober getting a KO, but the odds are too high to trust. I predict Dober by KO but won't bet the moneyline.
Paul picks Ricky Glenn as a value play, citing Dober's recent knockout loss and Glenn's volatility. He notes that Glenn has sneaky power and could catch Dober. However, he is not highly confident, calling it a high-volatility fight. He prefers the under 2.5 rounds prop as a safer bet.
The MMA Guru picks Drew Dober over Ricky Glenn, predicting a TKO. He jokes about Dober's racially motivated power but seriously notes Glenn looked like an 'old age pensioner' in his last fight against Christos Giagos, slow and predictable. He believes Dober has decent takedown defense and will land body shots, finishing Glenn in the late first round. He also mentions Glenn stands upright, making him vulnerable.

Angelo picks Ricky Glenn because of his superior striking. He thinks Glenn's striking will be so much better that Giagos will struggle to get takedowns. He also notes Glenn has solid submission defense if taken down. He is not betting due to both fighters being inactive and not having won in a couple of years.
Big Brady picks Ricky Glenn to win by decision. He notes that Glenn has solid takedown defense and a very good get-up game, which will be a problem for Giagos, who tends to slow down as fights go on. Brady expects Giagos to have early success taking Glenn down, but Glenn will pop back up, and as Giagos fades, Glenn will take over in the second and third rounds. He trusts Glenn's cardio over Giagos's.
Cody picks Ricky Glenn, praising his cardio, durability, and striking volume. He notes Giagos is explosive but gasses quickly, often winning the first round but fading. Glenn has excellent takedown defense and submission defense, and he can get back to his feet. Cody believes Glenn will weather the early storm and take over in later rounds, possibly getting a late stoppage. He mentions a third-round TKO prop as a live play.
Connor picks Ricky Glenn, noting that Glenn is a slow-starting fighter who builds into fights and has a history of comebacks. He highlights Glenn's ability to stuff takedowns and win scrambles, turning them into top position where he is fearsome. Connor contrasts this with Giagos, who is a physical bully but has a rudimentary wrestle-boxing style and tends to crumble when pushed back.
Ricky Glenn is a solid all-around fighter with good cardio and defensive grappling. He should be able to stuff Giagos' early takedowns and take over in later rounds. Giagos has poor cardio and a limited striking game. However, Glenn has a history of hip injuries and layoffs, so his conditioning is a concern. If Glenn is anywhere near 80%, he should win by late finish or decision. Prediction: Glenn by third-round TKO.
Paul agrees with Cody, saying he is in complete agreement and has nothing to add. He implicitly picks Ricky Glenn.
The MMA Guru picks Ricky Glenn over Christos Giagos. He criticizes Giagos for losing to top-level competition and notes his wins are against low-level opponents. He praises Glenn's performances against good opponents like Dennis Bermudez and Gavin Tucker, and his short-notice majority draw with Grant Dawson. He thinks Glenn can out-grapple or out-strike Giagos and predicts a decision win, 29-28.
Zane agrees with Connor, picking Ricky Glenn. He emphasizes that Glenn is never the faster or harder hitter, but he is undeterred by Giagos's early success. Zane notes that Giagos has never lost the ability to be shocked when someone he bullied early works back into the fight, and he tends to crumble. Zane feels relatively confident in Glenn getting the win.

At long last, we have reached the co-main event, which comes in the form of a lightweight collision between acclaimed teams Glory MMA & Fitness and Team Alpha Male. Dawson (17-1, 5-0 UFC) represents the former, while Glenn (22-6-1, 4-3 UFC) fights out of the latter. Marvelously mustached referee Mike Beltran draws the charge for this co-headliner featuring the biggest betting favorite of the night (Dawson at -450), and there is no interest in a glove touch to kick it off. Instead, Glenn takes the outer edge of the cage to land a pair of slapping leg kicks. Dawson goes up high with a head kick that just gets blocked in the nick of time, and he aims a low kick and evades the counter. Glenn slows things down with a calf kick, and one to the body collides loudly. Dawson does not love this strike, and he crashes forward to hit a takedown. Although “The Gladiator” fights his way back up, Dawson successfully lands a mat return to get into side control. Glenn is able to defend himself from any harm, as Dawson is content to keep this position while holding Glenn down. From this position, “KGD” lands a few knees to the side, and Glenn rolls to his stomach and gives up his back. As Glenn scrambles and gets back to his feet, Dawson throws him right back down to the canvas while securing his back. Dawson hooks up a tight body triangle, and he starts softening the TAM fighter up with punches. Glenn turns to the side to break up the leg grip, and Dawson starts slamming his fists on the side of Glenn’s head. A few punches may go errant as he is letting them go, and Glenn does not complain but is getting controlled completely. Dawson considers rolling Glenn over so he can capture mount, but instead goes back to the crushing body triangle from behind. Glenn continues to roll, and try as he might, “KGD” is going nowhere, with the leg grip secured. This painful position remains tight until the round ends.

Round 2
Glenn leads the dance with a body kick, and he backs off quickly when concerned that Dawson might want to take him down again. Dawson returns fire with a head kick, and then dives forward into a takedown try. A torrid scramble ensues, allowing Glenn to somersault through the position and somehow getting back to his feet. Instead of getting off an illegal knee while Dawson is grounded, Glenn backs off and lets him stand. “KGD” appreciates this, and he thanks him for it by lifting Glenn in the air and throwing him to his knees. Although Glenn gets back up, and he fights off subsequent try, Dawson hits a sweep and puts Glenn on his back. Like the first takedown in the opening round, Dawson instantly secures side control. Glenn is able to scramble enough to retrieve full guard, and he tries to scoot his way towards the wall to walk it up all while Dawson pulls him the other direction. Glenn pulls on the fence to get his way there, and Beltran warns him for this infraction. Glenn signals to Beltran to stand them up as Dawson is doing little but landing sporadic ground-and-pound with no interest in passing. Glenn’s frustration leads to Dawson jumping back and over to the side again, and Glenn is none too thrilled by this development. When Glenn thinks to sit out of it, Dawson pulls him back down by his neck. Beltran asks the two to work as a stalemate ensues in this position, and Dawson elects to hold his shoulder down to crush Glenn’s jaw but do little else. Dawson has a few more knees to the side land, and he grinds his forearm on the chin until picking his arm up to punch “The Gladiator” in the face. The round concludes in this position.

Round 3
Glenn wants to get his hands going to start off the round, and he slaps away a body kick. Less than 15 seconds in, Dawson shoots for a takedown. Glenn pushes him off, and then stuffs a second try that immediately follows. As Dawson doggedly pursues yet another takedown entry, this time, Glenn bowls him over as Dawson falls to his back. Glenn sits up and starts landing heavy hammerfists on the nose, and Dawson sits up and tries to land a takedown. Once again, Glenn is the stronger man, and he pushes Dawson over to start landing punches to the side and face. Glenn in half guard just clings to the position, and he uses his shoulder to keep “KGD” down. Not doing much more than Dawson in the last round, Glenn rides out the position before flirting with a brief arm-triangle choke. There is nothing to the choke, and he fights off Dawson pushing off so that he can flatten Dawson out and stop the scrambles. Glenn starts letting elbows go, thumping Dawson’s dome off the cage floor. When Dawson tries to upkick and push his way up, Glenn nudges him back over. Glenn opens up with right hands, and he turns to a brabo choke with seconds left in the fight. Dawson keeps his thumb up in the air for the remainder of the round, signaling that he is not out. When the bell sounds, Glenn points to his fallen foe and claims Dawson is indeed out, and Dawson’s coach James Krause urges Dawson to get back to his feet. There is no 5:00 finish, and we go to the judges. This could be a close one, depending on how this last dramatic round is scored.

The Official Result
Grant Dawson vs. Ricky Glenn is Ruled a Majority Draw (29-28, 28-28, 28-28)
Angelo is very confident Dawson wins. He notes Dawson's relentless wrestling and top game, and that Glenn's forward plotting style plays into Dawson's game plan. He expects Dawson to duck under punches and take Glenn down repeatedly. He plans to bet a -3.5 point spread on Dawson at -120 instead of the moneyline, meaning Dawson must win all rounds or by finish. He likes the less/less on the monkey knife fight (under 73.5 combined strikes).
Big Brady is confident in Dawson, citing his improvements and Glenn's 66% takedown defense. He expects Dawson to get multiple takedowns and control the fight, winning a grinding decision. He notes Glenn is capable off his back but hasn't been submitted in the UFC.
Cody picks Grant Dawson despite the steep price, citing Dawson's wrestling, cardio, and ability to grind out wins. He acknowledges Dawson's vulnerability in striking exchanges but believes his grappling will be the difference against Ricky Glenn, who has historically struggled with takedown defense. Cody notes that Glenn's recent knockout of Joaquin Silva was a flash KO and that Glenn has many unknowns after a long layoff. He trusts Dawson's consistency and James Krause's coaching.
Lock favors Dawson due to his takedown volume and cardio. He thinks Dawson's control game is much better than Glenn's and expects Dawson to win by decision. He notes Glenn is durable but Dawson should dominate on the ground.
Paul is concerned about the steep line and Dawson's vulnerability in striking exchanges. He notes that Ricky Glenn has a significant striking advantage and that Dawson's takedown-heavy approach may not be as effective if Glenn's takedown defense has improved. Paul does not make a pick, calling it a 'dogger pass' and expressing reluctance to lay the -365.
The MMA Guru picks Grant Dawson, trusting his grappling. He acknowledges Ricky Glenn's toughness and KO power but believes Dawson's wrestling and control time will be decisive. He references Dawson's win over Leonardo Santos as evidence of his grappling ability.

Angelo picks Joaquim Silva, citing his knockout power and ability to close distance. He notes that Silva's power is always present and that he doesn't give up. However, he is hesitant due to the long layoff for both fighters. He does not have Silva in his DraftKings lineup and is not placing a money bet.
Big Brady is hesitant due to long layoffs for both fighters. He notes Silva hits hard and Glenn is hittable, but Glenn has never been knocked out. He expects Silva to land harder shots and win a decision, but recommends staying away from betting.
Cody picks Silva, citing Silva's power and experience at 155 lbs. He notes Glenn's long layoff (almost 3 years) and move up in weight, which could be problematic. Silva's power and pressure should be too much for Glenn, who is not a big hitter.
Daniel Levi picks Joaquim Silva, citing his power and durability. He notes that while Ricky Glenn has better technique, he is defensively vulnerable and marks up easily. He thinks Silva will bruise Glenn up and possibly get a knockout or decision. He also mentions Silva's black belt in jiu-jitsu as an additional threat.
Jacob also picks Joaquim Silva, but with low confidence. He worries about Silva's cardio and notes that Silva's last loss was to a southpaw, and Ricky Glenn is also a southpaw. He sees both as counter punchers and expects a slow fight. He is not putting Silva in his lineup and would not bet on it.
The host is confident in Joaquim Silva, citing his heavy Muay Thai striking, power, and ability to capitalize on Ricky Glenn's wild, open striking. He notes Glenn's low takedown accuracy (13% in UFC) and that Silva has put cardio concerns to rest with third-round finishes. He expects Silva to land damaging blows and predicts a second-round knockout, as Glenn's durability may be tested by Silva's power. He mentions Silva's body work and that Glenn's layoff and hip surgery could be factors.
Paul picks Silva, agreeing with Cody. He notes Glenn's layoff and weight class change, and Silva's recent competition. Paul thinks Silva's power and durability will be key.
The MMA Guru picks Ricky Glenn to win by unanimous decision (30-27). He believes Glenn's size and strength will be too much for Joaquim Silva, despite Glenn moving up from featherweight. He expects Glenn to land good shots on the feet early, mix in takedowns, and use his range with kicks. He thinks Silva won't have the strength to deal with Glenn's pressure and grappling.
