Angelo notes Ode' Osbourne is a southpaw with power and finishing ability, and has grappling as a backup. Zarrukh Adashev is a kickboxer with almost no ground game. Despite Osbourne looking slow in his last fight, Angelo believes Adashev is not the technical striker to exploit that, so Osbourne's power and grappling should secure the win.
Big Brady picks Ode' Osbourne to win by first-round submission. He notes Osbourne's massive size and reach advantage (7-inch reach advantage) over Adashev, and thinks Osbourne can take the fight to the mat and submit him. He mentions Osbourne's good ground game and submissions off his back, while Adashev is a kickboxer with a submission loss. He expects Osbourne to grapple and finish early, though he notes Osbourne doesn't always go for takedowns as much as he'd like.
Cody is uncertain, noting Osbourne's cardio issues and Adashev's one-dimensional striking. He thinks Osbourne's speed and reach should win, but he's not confident and likely won't bet.
Daniel Levi picks Ode' Osbourne, citing his size, reach, and improving skills. He notes that Adashev, despite a deceiving record, is smaller and likely outmatched. He believes Osbourne has multiple win conditions and sees the -185 price as reasonable, though he expects the line to move further. He picks Osbourne to win, possibly by finish.
Paul picks Osbourne but is not confident enough to bet. He notes Osbourne's reach advantage and speed, but worries about his cardio and tendency to fade. He thinks Osbourne will win the first two rounds and survive the third.
The MMA Guru picks Ode' Osbourne to win by 29-28 unanimous decision. He highlights Osbourne's massive eight-inch reach advantage and believes he will keep Adashev at range. He compares the matchup to Adashev's loss to Sumudaerji, where he was picked apart. He expects Osbourne to win the first two rounds clearly, with Adashev possibly having success in the third via calf kicks.

He sees Adashev as a passive victory if Benoit fights stupid.

He sees Adashev as a live underdog, especially given his kickboxing background and training with Frankie Edgar and Ricardo Almeida. Adashev has a kickboxing background and should have a striking advantage. Benoit has weight-cut issues and may lean on grappling, but Adashev's takedown defense is unproven. Adashev showed bright spots against Sumudaerji despite the loss. He should land the more effective strikes and take a decision. The plus money is appealing.
Paul does not make a clear pick, calling it a 'dog or pass' spot. He notes that Benoit has the wrestling advantage but often chooses not to use it, and Adashev has decent striking. He is not confident in either side and decides to pass.
The MMA Guru picks Ryan Benoit over Zarrukh Adashev, stating that Benoit has fought decent competition and has a reach advantage. Back at flyweight, surging Chinese upstart Mudaerji (13-4, 2-1 UFC) steps in on short notice against Adashev (3-2, 0-1 UFC). Populating the cage along with these two quick men is referee Jason Herzog, and the touch of gloves is the first of many strikes to come. Mudaerji lands a powerful leg kick that makes Adashev change stances, but “The Lion” charges back with a left hand that makes Mudaerji stumble. Mudaerji gathers his thoughts and fires off a side kick that makes Adashev bounce away. Mudaerji swings and misses with another leg kick, but he lands one from his other leg. Mudaerji just barely misses a head kick, and he ducks out of the way when Adashev darts at him. The Chinese fighter chips away at the lead leg a few more times, all while evading a looping combination from his foe. Mudaerji works the lead leg as Adashev has changed stances, and he sticks Adashev with a right hand when Adashev comes in at him. Adashev swings and misses once more, with Mudaerji able to keep him at arm’s reach thanks to a significant reach advantage. Mudaerji gets off a sharp jab, and he looks for a right hook but Adashev does not come at him this time. Mudaerji peppers the lead leg with kicks, only to change it up with a kick up high to keep his foe guessing. Adashev hits nothing but air with a wide combination, allowing Mudaerji to land a stiff body kick and a leg kick from afar. Mudaerji lunges with a jab, and when he reaches out another, Adashev lands a heavy left hand. Mudaerji backs off, and Adashev is on him and connects with a right hand as well. Mudaerji looks to counter with a right hand when Adashev advances, and he stings Adashev with a right hook as Adashev has no choice but to blitz forward. Mudaerji slaps out a jab, and another breaks up a prospective combination from his opponent. The round ends.

Round 2
Mudaerji offers a glove touch, and his foe obliges him before taking a punch across the forward bow. Adashev charges in to attack, and although he misses with the majority of his strikes, one punch at the end of a shot collides with the chin. Mudaerji takes a quick count of his teeth before pushing out with a front kick. Adashev once more tries his charge, and this time Mudaerji is ready for it as he snipes him with a few jabs and a left hand. Adashev crashes the pocket to force a grappling exchange, but Mudaerji keeps his balances and pushes off to prevent any possible takedown. When Mudaerji attempts a spinning kick, Adashev circles around to take his back and slams his right hand in the side of Mudaerji’s head repeatedly. Mudaerji powers back up, and he barely misses getting clipped with a left hook. Mudaerji jumps and lands a switch kick, but Adashev brushes it off and circles away. When Mudaerji tries to land a body kick, Adashev drops him with a right hand. “The Tibetan Eagle” quickly leaps back to his feet, and his hands are down as he tries to pressure his opponent but gets tagged once more. Mudaerji lands a few punches and a front kick up the middle to get back into his groove, and he ducks away to dodge the strikes that come his way. As Adashev races forward, Mudaerji cracks him with a right hand. Adashev gets nailed with another right hand, and he turns away for a moment and falls into the fence. Mudaerji chains together a few punches as he chases him, but he lets Adashev off the hook and backs off. A possibly recovered Adashev circles the edge of the cage to gather his thoughts, and he swings and misses with a looping right hand. Mudaerji fakes a flying knee to get Adashev to retreat, and he lands a leg kick as Adashev’s volume has completely fallen away. Mudaerji chips away with a few kicks before the horn blares.

Round 3
Mudaerji begins the final round with a kick, and when Adashev tries to come at him with strikes, Mudaerji ducks away and lands another kick. Mudaerji has a head kick blocked, and he defends himself from the looping right hand that soars towards his face. Adashev is well short of his target as Mudaerji jabs at him from a great distance, all while Mudaerji kicks at him. The feints and fakes from Mudaerji are getting Adashev to react and guess, allowing Mudaerji to tee off on him with long punches and leg kicks. The pace wanes as Mudaerji is in his groove with his hands by his waist, throwing head kicks and wildly inaccurate spinning kicks unconcerned about the response. Adashev loads up on his punches but they are not able to get any traction, with Mudaerji styling on him with single, effective strikes. Mudaerji takes a leg kick as he hops out of the way, and a body kick gets blocked but still has some impact. Adashev gets off a solid right hand, and Mudaerji stops and mocks him to claim the strike did not do anything. Adashev whiffs but is pressuring his opponent, who is now struggling to keep his range and land anything of merit. Mudaerji hops forward with a left hand, and Adashev charges like a bull with booming punches. Adashev throws bombs, and falls over with how hard he is throwing, but Mudaerji rolls with the punches and lands one final spinning wheel kick for good measure. The fight ends, and Mudaerji sticks his tongue out.

Big Brady is high on Sumudaerji, citing his striking skills, reach advantage, and upside. He notes that Zarrukh Adashev got knocked out quickly in his UFC debut and looked out of shape. He predicts a first-round knockout for Sumudaerji, believing he is on a different level. He mentions that Sumudaerji's takedown defense has been improving.

For our potentially unexpected co-headlining flyweight fight, two men that combine for four straight losses look to reverse their fortunes as TUF 24 winner Elliott (15-11-1, 4-9 UFC) looks to show “Baby Face” Benoit (10-6, 3-4 UFC) the ropes. Keeping tabs on this potentially high-paced 125-pound clash is referee Marc Goddard, and although Benoit tries to tough gloves, Elliott has no interest in it. He rushes forward to attack, throwing front kicks and low kicks while Benoit swings at him. Elliott keeps him away with kicks, and paws out a left hand constantly to disrupt Benoit’s movement and offense. Elliott kicks him up high and is blocked, and he backs off before he gets countered. Elliott catches him in the cup, and there is no pause of action as Elliott keeps walking him down. Benoit nearly lands a hard one-two, but the two flies by Elliott’s head. Elliott staves him off with low kicks, and a jumping switch kick makes Benoit back off. Benoit sinks in a heavy leg kick, and the two jab at one another. A big right hand from Benoit is followed by a huge head kick, that catches Elliott flush on the chin. Elliott is not remotely concerned, and he keeps going forward with long front kicks and jabs. Benoit tries to bite down on his mouthpiece and land right hands, but Elliott is able to potshot him from a distance. Benoit fires up another head kick, and Elliott partially blocks it. Elliott shoots in for a takedown, and Benoit stuffs it well but takes an elbow on the way out. Benoit sticks him with a jab, and takes a low kick and a side kick when going after the former title challenger. Elliott keeps jabbing, and Benoit digs deep with a thudding left hand to the liver. Elliott shoots in for a takedown, and Benoit scrambles and flies in the air to get out of position. When he lands, he springs back up. Elliott sells out for one last takedown attempt, and slams Benoit with emphasis as the round ends.

Round 2
Elliott comes out in a karate stance with his hands by his waist, but he raises his guard as soon as Benoit swings at him. “Baby Face” throws a few hooks, but his most effective strike in the early going is a bone-crunching body kick. Elliott does not even register the strike landed, and he takes a left straight while pawing his hands out to keep Benoit back. Benoit jabs him in the face, and backs off to dodge a looping left hand. Benoit goes to the body and head, and stuffs a takedown by uppercutting Elliott in the chin. Benoit times another uppercut, and Elliott is busted up but he walks forward ready to swing. Benoit shoots in for a takedown, and he leaves his neck out to get it grabbed by Elliott. Benoit tries to scramble, but Elliott has the choke tight and reverses position to get on top. Benoit grits through it, and although he pulls his head free, Elliott has him mounted. Benoit scrambles and kicks back to butterfly guard, and Elliott lands a palm strike from on top. Benoit rolls to hit a kneebar, and it is in deep as Elliott is grimacing in pain as he tries to spin through. Elliott manages to gut it out somehow, and thinks about going after a heel hook but gives it up to punch Benoit in the posterior repeatedly. Benoit powers out, and gets up to his feet where he is ready to trade leather. Elliott kicks him in the torso, and Benoit swings wildly and tags Elliott. Elliott quickly changes levels and lands a takedown, where he finds himself in a strange position reminiscent of a Suloev stretch modified kneebar setup. While Benoit may be behind him, Elliott has the dominant position, and he rains down elbows close to being 12-6 until we hear the horn.

Round 3
The third round begins in exciting fashion, as Elliott is amped up and ready to exchange. They trade leather, and Elliott is pushing the pace and presses Benoit against the fence. Although he considers a takedown, he abandons it to throw several knees up the middle. Elliott considers a standing arm-triangle choke, and he lets go when Benoit gets free. Elliott’s right hand is hurt, and he is pulling at it as Benoit throws punches at him. Goddard observes it but does not stop the clock, and it could be an injured finger. Elliott has stopped throwing the right to any observable effect, sticking to left jabs and kicks as Benoit bears down on him with punches. The strikes from Elliott are enough to keep Benoit backed off, but Benoit blitzes in and lands a few body shots, Elliott connects with a solid left hook, but Benoit comes at him with three punches. Elliott dances around and fakes a tornado kick, only to give it up after turning 360 degrees. Elliott backs him away with long jabs, and Benoit kicks him in the lead leg. Elliott tries to kick him and falls over in the process, but he springs back up before Benoit can capitalize. Benoit tags Elliott and hurts him, making Elliott’s knees wobble as he stumbles backward. Elliott grins as Benoit continues to connect on him, and Benoit closes into the clinch, where he starts lumping up Benoit with standing hammerfists. Benoit loads up on some massive punches, and he cracks Elliott with a knee seconds before time expires. Benoit loses his balance, but there is no time left for Elliott to go after him. This is a close one.

The Official Result
Tim Elliott def. Ryan Benoit via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Big Brady picks Tim Elliott but is hesitant due to Elliott's gas tank issues. He believes Elliott can get takedowns and dominate early rounds, but worries about him gassing out in the third. He notes Elliott has never been knocked out, which neutralizes Benoit's path to victory. He predicts a decision win for Elliott but says he can't bet on it because of the cardio concerns.
Daniel Levi picks Ryan Benoit, noting his power and improved wrestling defense. He believes Elliott's chin is declining and that Benoit will knock him out late second or early third round, even if Elliott gets takedowns early.
The Guru dismisses both fighters as 'trash' but picks Tim Elliott due to his activity and recent Fight of the Night bonus. He notes Ryan Benoit has a 10-6 record and is not at Elliott's level. Elliott has been more active and should get a submission win.

Expert Picks (6)
Big Brady picks Ryan Benoit, citing his finishing ability and power. He notes Benoit has multiple paths to victory: striking or grappling. He is unimpressed with Adashev, who has been finished in two of three losses. Brady predicts a first-round knockout for Benoit.
Cody leans towards Zarrukh Adashev as a slight underdog, noting that Benoit often fights with poor game plans and does not use his wrestling. He believes Adashev's striking is cleaner and that he can win a decision or even get a finish. However, he is not highly confident because Benoit has experience and power. He sees Adashev as a passive victory if Benoit fights stupid.
Levi acknowledges that Ryan Benoit should be favored due to his UFC experience and power, but notes Benoit has a tendency to make fights close and lose split decisions. He sees Adashev as a live underdog, especially given his kickboxing background and training with Frankie Edgar and Ricardo Almeida. Levi suggests this is a 'dog or pass' situation and slightly leans toward Adashev at the betting window, though he agrees Benoit is the rightful favorite.
He notes that Adashev's best achievement is going to a decision against Sumudaerji. He expects Benoit to win, as he is more talented and has the ability to harm opponents.
