The Official Result
Fatima Kline def. Angela Hill via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) R3 5:00
Angelo picks Angela Hill despite her age (40), believing she is more technical and durable than Fatima Kline. He criticizes Kline's takedown attempts and notes her wins are over fighters no longer in the UFC. He is hesitant and considers a plus 3.5 round bet but does not place a moneyline bet.
Big Brady picks Fatima Kline, citing her youth (15 years younger) and Angela Hill's recent decline. He notes Hill looked poor in her last four fights and is slowing down at age 40. Brady believes Kline has a big advantage on the ground with vicious ground and pound and a good submission game, though he predicts a decision win. He mentions Kline trains with Erin Blanchfield and expects her to get the fight to the mat.
Cody picks Kline, citing her youth, speed, and well-rounded skills. He notes that Hill is slowing down at 41 and that Kline has good grappling and striking. Cody believes Kline can outstrike Hill or take her down. He mentions that Hill's cardio is fading and that Kline is the logical pick.
Connor also picks Kline, agreeing with Zane. He notes that Hill may be losing a step and that Kline is a very good grappler who can dominate from winning positions. He thinks Kline's youth and versatility give her the edge, but acknowledges Hill is still a tough test.
Daniel sees a clear mismatch, with Hill at 40 years old and on the decline, while Kline is a young, physical, and well-rounded prospect. He expects Kline to dominate and make a statement, similar to how Denise Gomes beat Tecia Torres.
Lucrative James picks Fatima Kline to win, citing her youth, full-time training, and well-rounded skills. He believes Hill is past her prime and struggles from bottom position, while Kline has great striking and grappling. He expects Kline to dominate on the feet and on the ground, possibly winning by decision or late submission.
Kline lands bigger shots against Hill, eventually lands takedowns, and grinds Hill out from top position. She gets her hand raised on the scorecards.
Paul agrees with Cody, noting that women's favorites have been hitting at a high rate. He points out that Hill is past her prime and that Kline is younger, faster, and stronger. Paul thinks Kline will win by decision or TKO. He is confident in the pick and mentions that he has been backing favorites successfully.
The Guru picks Fatima Kline, citing her size, range, and finishing ability. He notes that Angela Hill is aging and has been less effective recently, with losses to Tabatha Ricci and Luana Pinheiro. Kline has shown consistent finishing ability and should be able to outmuscle Hill. The Guru predicts a decision win for Kline, possibly with a late finish.
Zane picks Kline, noting that Hill may be losing athleticism and that Kline is younger and more capable everywhere. He acknowledges that Hill is a tough veteran and a great clinch fighter, but thinks Kline's grappling and scrambling could be too much. He calls the odds too wide.

He notes Kline's grappling is dangerous and she has good takedowns, while Martinez's takedown defense is decent but her back is vulnerable. He is confident Kline wins but refuses to bet at -400 odds, calling it insane.
Big Brady is extremely confident in Fatima Kline, calling her one of the best prospects in WMMA. He highlights her striking, grappling background, and dominant ground and pound. He notes that Melissa Martinez was outgrappled by Elise Reed, the worst grappler in the division, and expects Kline to get a takedown and finish. He picks Kline by second-round submission.
The host expects Kline to dominate Martinez using a grapple-heavy approach and finish her within two and a half rounds. Kline is a heavy favorite at -400, indicating strong confidence in her victory. The host emphasizes her grappling advantage as the key to the finish.
The MMA Guru picks Fatima Kline, citing her physicality and size advantage (5'6" vs 5'2"). He notes she is a -1200 favorite and expects her to use grappling to secure a submission in the early rounds, referencing her recent first-round submission win over Victoria Dudakova. He believes Melissa Martinez's win over Alice Ardelean was competitive and that Kline will be too physical.

Angelo picks Fatima Kline but is highly critical of the -900 odds, calling them 'absurd' for a fighter with only seven professional fights and no UFC wins. He acknowledges Kline's grappling advantage but notes her lack of strength and recent loss where she was taken down. He suggests the better bet might be on Victoria Dudakova via the plus 3.5 round spread, as he believes Dudakova could win a round and cover. He expects the fight to go to decision.
Big Brady is very high on Fatima Kline, calling her the future. He criticizes Dudakova's cardio, striking, and grappling, noting she looked terrible against Sam Hughes and struggled against Jinu Fry. He highlights Kline's well-rounded skills, training with Erin Blanchfield, and her black belt in BJJ. Brady predicts Kline will wear down Dudakova and finish her by third-round submission, as Kline has stated she wants a finish in her strawweight debut.
Cody picks Kline but refuses to bet at -1000, calling the line absurd. He notes Kline's grappling and training with Blanchfield, but warns of Dudakova's physicality and potential for an upset. He advises passing or using Kline in deep parlays only.
Daniel thinks Kline should be favored but questions the -1000 price, calling it a dog-or-pass situation. He notes Dudakova has had disappointing performances and a staph infection, but getting a Russian fighter at +625 is rare. He leans Kline but says he'll probably pass unless he sees something at weigh-ins.
Kline returns to her natural strawweight class after being outmuscled at a higher weight on short notice. She should showcase her skills and grind out Dudakova, possibly finding a submission later in the fight.
Paul picks Kline but also refuses to bet at -1000. He notes her well-rounded skills and natural weight class, but warns of women's MMA volatility. He suggests waiting for weigh-ins and possibly taking a small flyer on Dudakova.
The Guru picks Kline despite being surprised by the wide odds (9-1 favorite). He thinks it's a 50-50 fight leaning towards Kline but trusts the oddsmakers know something about Dudakova. He notes 48% of people are picking Dudakova but goes with Kline because of the betting line.

View on SherdogBETTING PREVIEW | SCOUTING REPORT | ODDS: Kline (-122), Jasudavicius (+102)
Round 1
Originally expecting to face Viviane Araujo, powerful Canadian Jasudavicius (10-3, 4-2 UFC) will now meet the debuting Kline (6-0, 0-0 UFC). The unbeaten Kline, who held titles at two divisions in Cage Fury FC, steps up on extremely short notice as she previously planned on appearing on the Contender Series this season. Keeping tabs on the flyweights will be referee Joel Ojeda, and there is no glove touch to commence the matchup. Kline moves in and out to get going, changing stances frequently and ultimately landing with a leg kick for the first strike of the match. Jasudavicius answers a second low kick with a right hand counter, and she brings her leg up to check another kick. When Kline reaches her, Jasudavicius counters with a sharp left that knocks Kline back. Jasudavicius nearly sweeps the leg with a low calf kick, and she parries a jab coming back her way. Jasudavicius fires off a head kick that slams into the raised guard of her foe, and Kline pays it no mind and does not appear to hear the “USA” chants in support of her ringing through the cage. Kline crashes forward, walking through a low kick and tackles the Canadian to the mat as they possibly clash heads. Jasudavicius uses butterfly guard in hopes of a sweep, and she prevents Kline from getting on top. Kline tries to leap over her to get a better position, but Jasudavicius fights it off and turns the corner to lift the newcomer up and muscle her to the floor. Kline crawls to the corner of the cage wall, and Jasudavicius rains down right hands and an elbow that slams into the back of the head. Jasudavicius is warned for the illegal blow, and she stays heavy on top with one hook in and hunts for a rear-naked choke that results in a face crank. Kline pulls the arm away, and Jasudavicius hangs on from behind to trap Kline’s left arm from defending herself. Jasudavicius keeps working from on top until Kline lowers herself to her back, in part due to “The Archangel” fighting out of a rear-naked choke setup. Jasudavicius gets away with a knee that bumps into Kline’s face, and she unleashes some serious ground-and-pound including at least one more shot to the back of the head. Kline shifts and turns to stay active, and Jasudavicius mauls her until the bell ends the round.

Round 2
The women zoom out of their corners and pass one another, and Kline strikes first with a front kick. Jasudavicius replies with a low kick, and Kline splits the guard with a left hand. Jasudavicius fires off a head kick and backpedals to avoid two leaping punches coming her way. Kline beats Jasudavicius to the punch with a one-two, and she does this a second time as the Canadian staggers for a second and gathers her thoughts. The crowd is lathered up by the striking exchanges, and Jasudavicius reaches her foe with a right hand to calm them. Jasudavicius sneaks a right hand over the guard, and she shrugs off a body kick and resets. Jasudavicius takes a right hand and gives one back, and she snaps out a jab and pushes off with the ball of her foot. The two fight in a phone booth, and Kline gets her with an uppercut before breaking. Jasudavicius steps in with an elbow and backs away when a one-two finds the mark, and she paws out a left hook when Kline comes at her. Jasudavicius targets the body, and Kline retreats and tries to set up a trap to release an elbow while jumping. Jasudavicius ties her opponent up, and Kline circles around and hops on to take the back for a split second. Jasudavicius starts blasting the body with knees after turning Kline back around, and Kline’s body language changes and she is dragged down to a knee from the Canadian. Jasudavicius imposes her weight and puts Kline down, briefly flattening her out and hanging on in dominant position while blasting the unbeaten woman with elbows and punches. As Jasudavicius rides, she has one hook in and loops left hands behind and on the ear. Ojeda warns the Niagara Top Team fighter for another strike to the back of the head, and Kline turns around and ends up giving up her back. Jasudavicius welcomes this and hooks up the body triangle almost immediately, and she begins softening Kline up with body shots. Jasudavicius searches for a choke as Kline hand-fights effectively, and she occasionally gets off strikes as Kline twists and turns. Kline goes to her knees, and Jasudavicius flips around to snatch up an armbar. Kline bucks her off and smacks her with three hammerfists before the horn sounds.

Round 3
Jasudavicius appears the fresher of the two as she jogs out of her corner to begin the last round, while Kline takes to the center of the cage and prods out a front kick. Jasudavicius jabs her back to the belly, and this fires Kline up. Kline lashes out with two mighty one-twos, stumbling the Canadian, but Jasudavicius rises and lets her have it with retaliatory blows. The two women go punch-for-punch and kick-for-kick, and Kline’s handiwork excites the fans enough to cheer for her again. Jasudavicius lets Kline bounce fists off her guard so she can loop strikes back, and Kline still manages to reach her with a few blows. Jasudavicius stays behind a jab and stings her foe with an uppercut, and they clash heads as they come together. Jasudavicius scores a right hand and a left, and when Kline backs off, Jasudavicius steps forward with an elbow. They tie up, and Kline tries to throw the Canadian to the floor but gives her back up standing. This victory is short-lived, as Jasudavicius slings her back down to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Jasudavicius lands and immediately presses down heavily to trap Kline from bucking, and she smothers the newcomer and lands occasional body shots. Kline tugs her toes off the fencing to try to improve her position, and Ojeda tells her to knock it off. Kline closes her guard, and Jasudavicius does not mind as she continues to work Kline over with ground strikes. Kline turns her back, and Jasudavicius sells out for a rear-naked choke. Kline backwards somersaults, and Jasudavicius lets her do this so she can fasten the choke under the chin. Time expires before the submission lands, but Jasudavicius drills her with one thudding elbow after the fight ends. There is no ill will for the strike landing at 15:01, and they hug it out to conclude the flyweight pairing.
